When I first started my blog, I didn’t realize how important it was to have business cards. If you’re going to be attending networking events, blogging conferences, or if you’ll be telling local business about your blog you’ll want to have a stack of business cards on hand at all times. (I have a Kate Spade business card holder I always keep in my bag).
Handing out your business card allows people you meet to check out your blog later, follow you on social media, or send you an email about collaborating. It also lends a sense of professionalism.
I purchased my business cards from Overnight Prints because of the quick turnaround time, but I really love the quality as well. Here’s what you’ll want to include on your business card:
- Your name
- Your blog’s logo or your picture
- Blog URL
- Email address
- Twitter handle
- Facebook URL
- Instagram and Pinterest handle/link, if relevant

Personalize and make it your own! And definitely remember to carry cards with you– stash some in your purse, car, laptop case, etc. The more you hand out, the more exposure for your blog and your brand.
