Cara of My Life & My Wardrobe

cara of my life & my wardrobeCara is a San Francisco native who is currently finishing up her senior year at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. (Woohoo! Let’s have a drink!) With a deep passion for the latest fashion trends and a strong focus on how to be a confident, self-loving bombshell on a budget, My Life & My Wardrobe is a place for every girl who is looking to spice up their everyday wardrobe. In her free time Cara enjoys day dreaming about Paris, eating any and all kinds of food, and cuddling with her two pugs.

What is your favorite thing about blogging?
My favorite aspect about blogging is definitely connecting with my followers. I try to write about loving yourself and who you really are rather than trying to adapt to what society says you should be. I believe every person has the ability to be fashionable and trendy, but it all starts with being happy with yourself and having confidence in where you want to go in life. I want my followers to try new things and step outside their comfort zones, because you never know what might happen!

What do you find the most challenging about blogging/being a blogger?
The most challenging thing for me when it comes to blogging is finding free time to write and take pictures for posts. As a college student, my days are always busy and it can be hard to find time in my schedule for arranging photo shoots, editing photos, and puttingcara of my life & my wardrobe together blog posts. Since it’s my passion I always seem to find time for it, but it does take a lot of organization and planning.

If you had to eat only one food for an entire year, what would it be?
Oh definitely sushi. I could eat sushi all day every day… Seriously! I’m part Japanese and ever since I was a little girl I would always ask my little Asian grandma to make her homemade sushi. It’s kind of like a piece of home for me; whenever I eat it I feel at peace.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
I think I would really enjoy having the ability to stop time. Being able to experience unforgettable moments for longer segments of time would be amazing! I would definitely have more appreciation for those kinds of memories.

Thanks so much, Cara. Great to learn more about you. Make sure you check out My Life & My Wardrobe, Team TBC!
