We are excited to feature the lovely Danielle from According to D today. She is sharing inspiration from her wedding.
When I was planning our wedding, I loved to get online and look through photos of other peoples weddings for inspiration! I looked on Pinterest, Youtube, Blogs, Facebook, etc. I loved being inspired by other bride’s wedding themes, decor, and creative ideas. It was so fun planning our wedding, I truly had a blast! If you are a bride reading this, I encourage you to embrace and enjoy the wedding planning journey, have fun with it, and remember what’s most important… You and your soon-to-be husband!
Here is a look into our wedding; I hope it can help inspire you with your planning.
Gold, white, champagne with hints of blush.
Dahlias, peonies, Dinnerplate Dahlias, garden roses, ranunculus, white anemones, spray roses, stock, astilbe, Queen Anne’s Lace and Dusty Miller.
Bridal bouquet was white peonies, anemones, and Dusty Miller.
Romantic/vintage with a pop of glam.
Incorporating lace, antique gold, antique looking frames, romantic ribbons, etc., created a romantic and vintage feel.
I had a couple things in the wedding that acted as a pop of glam. For example, my shoes were glittery gold, and so was the ribbon that wrapped around the bridal bouquet. Also, I incorporated gold into the table numbers and on a few vases around the reception.
A few photos from our wedding.
Thank you for reading! I hope this helped inspire you for your own wedding planning. if you are a bride to be, congratulations! And remember to enjoy every moment of it!
