Aisha of Rooted In Salt
Aisha blogs over at Rooted in Salt, where she shares her love for Christ, fashion, healthy recipes, and much more. She was born and raised in Amman-Jordan until the age of 14. Out of all the warm and sunny states in the US to move to, her parents decided to move to Duluth, Minnesota! From palm trees, heat, and sun to frigid-teeth-chattering temperatures. Fourteen years later, Aisha still lives in Minnesota but still isn’t used to the cold temps.
In her spare time, Aisha loves spending time with her husband and reading a good book with a hot cuppa’ coffee in hand!
What is your favorite thing about blogging?
My favorite thing about blogging is engaging with my readers. They inspire me to share the content I write about. I write about Christ because I want others to know how much Christ loves them and how much He has changed my life. I write about healthy recipes because living a healthy lifestyle is so important. I write about my illness, Lyme Disease, to spread the awareness of this awful disease. I enjoy reading comments my readers leave on my blog and hearing their thoughts on certain topics.
What do you find the most challenging about blogging/being a blogger?
Coming up with new content and finding the time to blog consistently if definitely my biggest challenge. I am still trying to figure this one out without having to spend too much money on items, clothes, etc., to cover on the blog. If you all have any tips, I would love to hear them! 🙂
If you had to eat only one food for an entire year, what would it be?
Without any hesitation: pizza! I follow a Paleo diet, but once in a while I will order a large pizza and eat it all by myself. No sharing! 🙂
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
To freeze time. There were many times when I thought to myself, “I wish I could freeze this moment.” Working with the elderly for so many years opened my eyes to how precious life is and how quickly life goes by. I want to enjoy every moment, good or bad!
Thanks so much for being our babe this week, Aisha! Check her out over at Rooted In Salt!
