Lisa of Lady Code

Lisa is the creator of Lady Code, where she writes about anything from motivation and IMG_6087wellness to fashion. She lives in Miami and New York, and is a full-time designer for Vizcaya Swimwear, the swimwear sponsor of the Miss United States Organization.

As a swimsuit designer, you can always find her on the beach doing “market research.” When she isn’t busy blogging, designing, or traveling, she is also a host on the pageant talk show, PageantLIVE!

What is your favorite thing about blogging?
I use my blog as an outlet where I express my creativity, feelings, challenges, where I share videos, my travel experiences, and– of course– my outfits! I love how I can just spill whatever is on my mind to my blog, and I know people read it without judgment– it’s kind of therapeutic. Another perk I love is being invited to some pretty awesome events in my cities. I love networking!

What do you find the most challenging about blogging/being a blogger?
The hardest thing is consistency. It’s so easy to get caught up in life, and IMG_5908sometimes I catch myself putting off a a new blog post for weeks. My advice is to not get discouraged and just catch up, pick up where you left off, and carry on.

If you had to eat only one food for an entire year, what would it be?
Since I love eating everything and anything this is a tough one- but probably pad yhai. ☺

If you could have any super power, what would it be?
The power to heal any disease!

Thanks so much, Lisa! Make sure to go check out Lady Code and say hello!
